Hello! Welcome to our very first website. Dell and Dixie have

put together this web page to invite you on a brief tour into

their ordinary life with two extraordinary little boys. We also

threw in some family and good friends, just for good measure.

This site will be updated frequently, and you may come back as

much as you like to see what new things we are getting into. So

sit back, relax, and enjoy your visit with us. The buttons to the

left will take you to our other pages. Let us know what you think.

Dell was born in middle Tennessee with an older brother and sister. Dixie, an only child, was originally from west Tennessee, but moved to middle Tennessee around age 5. They met in high school and dated for only a short while. Because of geographical differences after high school, they called it quits on the long distance relationship.

Fate had other plans for them though. After Dixie had been back in town for some time, they started dated 4 years after high school and were married 1 year after that.

We have been blessed with two wonderful little miracles!

Cameron, age five, was nine and a half pounds at birth. He was long and skinny. We were not sure if he would get to go home with us, though. Born with a heart defect and operated on at four days old, Cameron has been a fighter from the very start. He is a walking miracle, and we thank God every day for letting us keep him. Thanks also to Dr. Bender for letting God use his hands to work His miracles here on Earth.

Bailey is our three year old. weighing in at ten and a half pounds at birth, he looked like a small sumo wrestler. He was born with a kidney defect. Although not as life threatening as Cameron's heart problem, it is still not something you enjoy hearing during one of life's happiest moments. Bailey's kidney was repaired at age two, and everything has checked out fine. So another big thanks to our Lord and to Dr. Hill for fixing up our Bailey Boy!

We couldn't be happier with our two little guys. And it is a good thing that we are, because the hospital probably wouldn't take them back for a refund anyway. They are definitely 100% rowdy boys!!!

This is Leigh, my best friend from school. She has an adorable little boy, Sean. He just turned one. They recently moved into a new house and Leigh has just been promoted at work. Being so busy, we don't see each other as much as we like.
Here is my Ashlea. She has to be one of the sweetest, most unselfish people I know. She dotes over her one year old nephew, Collin. I met her at work, and we could always be found at Ruby Tuesdays. She was my ER driver when I went into premature labor.
Stephanie, pictured here with her husband, Jim (a great guy) and their precious girls, Savannah & Mary Kate. I have known Stephanie for about five years. I call her Wonder Woman because she can work eight hours, take care of two girls, have ten women over for a candle party, cook dinner for all, and still have a clean house!
Jamie is a cute little thing. I have known her since high school. She has two beautiful children, Eric and Allison. Jamie (pepper steak) and myself (moo goo gai pan) always went out for Chinese together, since none of our
other friends liked Chinese food. She recently had to piece her family life back together when her husband Dean, also a good friend of mine, lost his life to gun violence.       BAN GUNS, GUNS KILL!!!
Ann is one crazy person to know. It doesn't matter what we talk about, we are usually laughing through most of it. She is very ambitious, working two or sometimes three
different places. I keep telling her, that will all change when she has children. She just got back from a business trip to Florida. Business??? Yeah right!!!
Angel Abigaille or "Abby" for short is our blonde cocker spaniel. She was given to Dixie as a Christmas gift ten years ago. She is as sweet as she can be. As a puppy, she learned how to shake hands, jump and give a high five, roll over and play dead, and the famous sit up and beg. The funny thing is, the training was done using McDonald's french fries. She is slowing down  in her old age, and her eyesight and hearing are less than normal. But she will always be our first baby. We guess she was our practice run before we decided to have kids.
This is our lovable, yet slightly challenged "Buddy". He is not the brightest pup of the bunch, but he is always a perfect gentleman by letting the two females eat first. Six years ago, our neighbors had a male cocker spaniel and a female springer spaniel that thought they were compatible, and that is how we received our Buddy Boy! We never could train him to do any tricks, though.
Sadie, our black cocker spaniel, is the last addition to our family. She was given to Dixie from her friend, Kristen. She can be a bit testy sometimes. Coming from a family with no other pets, she has had to learn to share dinnertime and our family's affection with two other pups. She is eight years old, yet we have only had her for a year. It was nice to get a dog that we didn't have to house train, though. We think she has gotten use to us, and we think she is great to have in our family.

CAMERON & BAILEY      HALLOWEEN 1999

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did this year

for halloween.  The costumes were made by Dixie and

her mom .  we decided on a "Wizard of Oz" theme , as you

can tell by the picture below.  We weren't sure which day to go trick or treating on this year.

Tin Man and Scarecrow decided to go out on actual Halloween night, even though it was on a

Sunday.  We had quite a few neighborhood kids come by on Saturday.  Then we had several

sneaky ones that stopped by both nights.  this page will update after christmas.

When pangs of fear seized on my soul,

Unto the Lord I cried.

Till Jesus came and made me whole,

I would not be denied.

As Jacob in the days of old,

I wrestled with the Lord,

And instantly, with courage bold,

I stood upon His Word.

Old Satan said my Lord was gone

And would not hear my prayer.

But praise the Lord, the work is done,

And Christ the Lord is here !

I would not be denied.

I would not be denied.

Till Jesus came and made me whole,

I would not be denied.
